About the Role
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and systems within a manufacturing environment to ensure efficient and safe operations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and support production goals.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machinery and equipment for signs of wear and tear
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
- Replace and install components as part of maintenance tasks
- Document maintenance activities and keep records
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Participate in continuous training to stay updated on machinery
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field
- Technical knowledge of machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Physical ability to lift and move machinery parts and tools
