About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to create a positive learning environment, develop lesson plans, and instruct students in various subjects. You will assess student performance and work with parents and guardians to support student growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff on curriculum development
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and performance
- Provide individualized education plans for students with special needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- State teaching certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with classroom management techniques
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Basic computer literacy and knowledge of educational software
