About the Role
Our city needs passionate individuals to join our Public Health Outreach team. As a coordinator, you’ll design and execute community health initiatives, ensuring equitable access to resources and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop targeted public health awareness programs
- Collaborate with community partners for resource allocation
- Create materials to educate on health topics (nutrition, mental health)
- Plan health fair events and community workshops
- Collect data and analyze program effectiveness
- Maintain relationships with government agencies and nonprofits
- Promote preventative health initiatives within diverse communities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in community outreach
- Strong program design and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of government public health policies
- Passion for addressing health disparities
