About the Role
Join the County Public Health Department as a Public Health Advisor. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing health education programs to promote wellness, prevent disease, and improve community health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement public health promotion initiatives
- Conduct health education workshops and seminars
- Collaborate with community organizations to address public health issues
- Develop educational materials and health resource guides
- Collect and analyze community health data
- Prepare health education reports and presentation materials
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and health agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in public health education or outreach
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in health data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with health needs assessment and program evaluation
