About the Role
Springfield Public Schools seeks a 3rd grade teacher to create engaging lesson plans, foster inclusive learning environments, and support student social-emotional development. Full-time position with contract renewal based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned curriculum
- Conduct student assessments
- Maintain gradebook/progress reports
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Lead parent-teacher conferences
- Implement PBIS strategies
Requirements
- State teaching certification (K-6)
- BA in Education or related field
- 2+ years classroom experience
- ESOL endorsement preferred
- Familiarity with Google Classroom
- Clear background check
