About the Role
We are seeking a responsible Public Safety Officer to ensure the safety and security of our community. You’ll patrol assigned areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of duty and a desire to serve the public.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
- Enforce local laws and regulations.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Educate the public on safety practices.
- Monitor security systems and alarms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid security or public safety certification preferred.
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
