About the Role
Memorial City Hospital requires a skilled Registered Nurse for our 32-bed medical-surgical unit. Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document patient vital signs
- Administer IV medications and treatments
- Coordinate discharge planning with case managers
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
- Implement infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency codes
- Educate patients on post-discharge care
Requirements
- Active RN license in Texas
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years acute care experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Flexibility for rotating shifts
- Physical stamina for 12-hour shifts
- Vaccination records including COVID-19
