About the Role
Join our dedicated education team as a math teacher. You’ll inspire 6th-8th grade students, develop innovative lesson plans, and collaborate with fellow educators to foster a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging math lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learner needs
- Prepare students for standardized testing success
- Mentor struggling students after school
- Collaborate with special education teachers for IEP implementation
- Maintain regular communications with parents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- State teaching license for Middle School Math
- Experience with Common Core standards
- Strong classroom management skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and 504 plans
- Patience, empathy and dedication to student development
