About the Role
Help streamline efficient operations at our regional distribution center. You’ll coordinate shipments, manage carrier relations, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Your organizational skills and attention to detail improve delivery speed and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process inbound and outbound freight documentation
- Select and negotiate with freight carriers
- Track shipments and manage tracking updates
- Optimize load plans to maximize efficiency
- Communicate proactively with customers and carriers
- Resolve transportation issues and exceptions
- Maintain detailed logistics records and analytics
- Assist in warehouse layout/routing optimization projects
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field
- 1-2 years logistics experience in distribution/transportation
- Proficiency with TMS/ERP systems and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with freight auditing tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capacity
- Knowledge of LTL/FTL carrier operations
