About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team and inspire students to develop a love for mathematics. You will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and exams
- Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the math curriculum
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
- State teaching certification in Mathematics
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred
- Strong knowledge of high school math curriculum and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students
