About the Role
Protect vulnerable children as a Social Worker with County Family Services. You’ll conduct home assessments, develop safety plans, and connect families with community resources. This position requires field work across Atlanta.
Responsibilities
- Assess child safety and family needs
- Maintain case documentation and court reports
- Coordinate services with schools and providers
- Testify in dependency hearings
- Provide crisis intervention support
- Monitor family progress and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field
- 2+ years child welfare experience
- State social work license (GSW/LMSW)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of child development
- Ability to handle sensitive situations
