About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Ensure electrical work is safe, up to code, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Repair and replace faulty electrical components
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects
- Provide estimates for electrical services
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program
- State electrician certification
- Experience with various electrical systems
- Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Knowledge of safety regulations and codes
