About the Role
PowerGrid Electrical Services needs a licensed Journeyman Electrician for commercial projects. You’ll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to safety codes. This role requires troubleshooting expertise and mentorship of apprentices on diverse job sites.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring, conduits, and fixtures
- Interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
- Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices
- Ensure compliance with NEC regulations
- Supervise apprentice electricians
- Maintain accurate job documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance
Requirements
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license
- 5+ years commercial electrical experience
- Thorough NEC code knowledge
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- OSHA 10 certification
- Reliable transportation and tools
- Clean driving record
