About the Role
Inspire future scientists at Summit Ridge Middle School. Teach 7th grade physical science using NGSS curriculum while fostering inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans aligned to standards
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Manage classroom behavior
- Assess student progress
- Coordinate science fair
- Lead after-school STEM club
Requirements
- Colorado teaching license 6-8 Science
- BA in Education or related field
- 3+ years classroom experience
- Familiarity with inquiry-based learning
- Mandatory background check
- ELL endorsement preferred
