About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team, fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will create lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support academic growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about student performance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with educational technology tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
