About the Role
Provide essential administrative support as an administrative assistant in our city’s public service department, contributing to our mission of serving our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and mail processing
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events
- Act as a point of contact for residents and other stakeholders, providing information and resolving inquiries
- Prepare and maintain reports and documents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Collaborate with department staff to support various projects and initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred)
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
