About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher to inspire and educate students in algebra, geometry, and calculus. The teacher will develop lesson plans, assess student performance, and collaborate with other educators. This role directly impacts student success and college readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and projects
- Provide individual and small group instruction to students as needed
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to improve educational programs
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- Experience teaching high school mathematics (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to use educational technology effectively
- Passion for teaching and student success
- Must pass background check and drug screen
