About the Role
Integrate computational biology and bioinformatics to solve complex biological problems. Your expertise will drive our ability to generate and analyze large-scale biological datasets, fueling advancements in medical research and pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and models to analyze biological data, including genomics and proteomics
- Process and interpret large-scale genomic and transcriptomic datasets
- Utilize bioinformatics tools to identify genetic markers and pathways involved in disease
- Collaborate with biologists and researchers to design experiments and analyze results)
- Maintain and update bioinformatics databases with new data and findings
- Develop data visualization tools to facilitate understanding of complex biological data
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in bioinformatics research and development
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and genomics
- Experience with high-performance computing and database management
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals a plus
