About the Role
Work collaboratively across consulting teams to deliver data-driven business strategies for enterprise clients. Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, develop predictive models, and create tailored recommendations that improve client performance.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean and preprocess data from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs)
- Perform exploratory data analysis using Python, R and data visualization tools
- Build predictive models for customer segmentation, forecasting and A/B testing
- Interpret results to develop actionable business strategies
- Create presentations and reports explaining complex technical concepts
- Partner with project managers on client discovery workshops and requirements gathering
- Provide training on data tools and best practices to client teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advanced analytics methodologies
- Communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Manage multiple deadlines and complex technical projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics, applied math or related field
- 3+ years experience in data analysis, business analytics or statistical modeling
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau, Matplotlib) libraries
- Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with machine learning methodologies desirable
- Knowledge of cloud data warehousing (Redshift, BigQuery) a plus
- Ability to travel to client offices as needed
- Client-facing communication skills essential for consulting environment
