About the Role
We are searching for a Release Manager with extensive release engineering experience to oversee our software deployment processes. This critical role involves ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of software releases, managing teams, and coordinating with cross-functional departments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the software release process to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to align release schedules
- Develop and maintain release procedures and best practices
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with software releases
- Manage release documentation and version control
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards
- Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders
- Conduct post-release reviews and analyze metrics to improve processes
Requirements
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a Release Manager or in a similar role
- Deep knowledge of software release engineering processes
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet)
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
