About the Role
Join Growing Minds Preschool as our Lead Assistant Teacher in our 3-5 year old classroom. You’ll collaborate with the Head Teacher to plan developmentally appropriate activities, support student growth milestones, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily lesson planning/curriculum implementation
- Prepare craft supplies, snacks, and age-appropriate materials
- Maintain accurate student progress reports
- Guide children through social-emotional development activities
- Help implement school-wide behavioral policies
- Organize and supervise outdoor playtime rotations
Requirements
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification
- 1+ years teaching experience in early childhood settings
- Infant/child CPR & First Aid certification
- Ability to pass background check and tuberculosis test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Patience and resilience working with young children
Benefits
- Salary range between $30,000 – $42,000
