About the Role
Join our compassionate emergency care team at Cityview Memorial Hospital. As an Emergency Nurse, effectively manage high-stress situations by providing prompt assessments, IV starts, and rapid diagnostic testing across trauma and non-emergency presentations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial triage on all patients
- Perform rapid cardiac and respiratory assessments
- Prepare sterile fields for emergency procedures
- Administer medications under physician instruction
- Update patient charting in real time
- Collaborate with surgical teams in crisis
- Maintain trauma room instrumentation
- Oversee patient intake and discharge procedures
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 3 years critical care experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Advanced technical proficiency with IV starts
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR software
- Highly detail-oriented with ability to handle chaos
- Experience with infection control procedures
