About the Role
Bright Horizons Academy seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with diverse learning needs. Create individualized education plans, collaborate with support staff, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Adapt curriculum materials
- Track student progress
- Collaborate with speech therapists
- Lead small group instruction
- Maintain parent communication
- Participate in IEP meetings
Requirements
- BA in Special Education
- State teaching certification
- 2+ years classroom experience
- Knowledge of ABA techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
