Job Description
About the Role
Diesel Mechanic needed to perform regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicle systems. Ensure vehicles are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment.
- Repair and replace engine components, brakes, electrical systems, and suspensions.
- Conduct emission testing and repairs to comply with environmental regulations.
- Maintain logs of repairs, inspections, and work performed.
- Collaborate with other mechanics to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Order and maintain inventory of vehicle parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide emergency maintenance support as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a diesel mechanics program or relevant certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in diesel repairs and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Knowledge of diesel fuel systems, electrical systems, and brake systems.
- Physical strength and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
