About the Role
Join Sunny Days Nursing Home in providing compassionate care for elderly residents. You’ll assist with daily living activities and support patient well-being in a collaborative environment. This role is critical to maintaining our high standard of personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and toileting needs
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to nursing staff
- Support mobility assistance and safe transfers using proper techniques
- Serve meals and assist with feeding according to care plans
- Document care provided and maintain accurate health records
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean and sanitary resident living areas
Requirements
- Valid Florida CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of infection control protocols
- Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents
- CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Clear background check and drug screening
