About the Role
Bright Horizons Academy seeks a passionate Elementary School Teacher to inspire young minds in a supportive learning environment. You will develop engaging lesson plans, foster student growth, and collaborate with parents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Attend staff meetings and school events
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- State teaching certification for K-6
- 2+ years teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check clearance
