About the Role
Join Green Valley Healthcare Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing essential patient care and support. Work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure resident comfort and well-being in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to nurses
- Document care provided and maintain accurate health records
- Transfer patients using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient areas
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Participate in care plan meetings
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in Illinois
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification
- 6+ months experience in long-term care preferred
- Physical stamina for lifting/moving patients
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
