About the Role
Lead development of autonomous mobile robots for warehouse fulfillment systems. Oversee mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams building next-generation logistics robotics with advanced perception and navigation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect ROS 2-based control systems
- Spearhead SLAM algorithm development in dynamic environments
- Implement safety systems meeting R15.08 standards
- Optimize fleet management for robotic coordination
- Conduct reliability testing under extreme conditions
- Manage $15M+ engineering budget
Requirements
- Masters in Robotics Engineering or related field
- 10+ years industrial robotics experience
- Expert ROS/ROS2 deployment in production
- Fluency with sensor fusion (LiDAR, VSLAM, IMU)
- Experience scaling robot fleets to 1000+ units
- Legitimate robotics portfolio
