About the Role
Provide compassionate care and assistance to elderly and disabled patients in their homes. Maintain patient comfort, safety, and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed diets.
- Monitor and report changes in patient’s condition to the supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document accurate patient information and report changes in status.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
- Valid CPR certification.
