About the Role
AutoMachina needs a Robotics Director to lead autonomous vehicle development. You’ll oversee sensor fusion teams, secure automotive certifications, and partner with OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Set technical roadmap for L4 autonomy
- Manage $20M annual R&D budget
- Navigate NHTSA/FMVSS regulations
- Recruit top robotics talent
- Present progress to investors quarterly
- Establish safety validation protocols
Requirements
- 10+ years in autonomous systems
- PhD in Robotics/ME/EE
- Experience with ROS2/OpenCV
- Knowledge of automotive SPICE
- Track record of production deployments
- Fluency in German/Japanese (OEM liaison)
