About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Public Service Coordinator to join our community outreach team. In this role, you will assist in planning and implementing programs that serve the public, coordinate volunteers, and engage with community members. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating public service programs
- Engage with community members to identify needs
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
- Organize and promote community events
- Maintain records and reports on program activities
- Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders
- Provide information and resources to the public
- Evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience in community outreach or public service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for community service and social impact
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
