About the Role
Support library operations through patron assistance and materials management. Help maintain community programs in Springfield’s busiest public library branch.
Responsibilities
- Check materials in/out
- Shelve books/media
- Assist with reference questions
- Process interlibrary loans
- Support children’s programming
- Maintain periodical displays
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Library experience preferred
- Familiarity with Dewey Decimal
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic tech literacy
- Valid driver’s license
