About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing essential care to patients in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and work closely with nurses and doctors to ensure high-quality care. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and sanitary.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed.
- Follow care plans and document patient progress.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies promptly.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
