About the Role
Inspire young minds as a 3rd grade teacher at Maplewood Elementary. You’ll create engaging lesson plans, foster positive classroom environment, and support holistic development of diverse learners.
Responsibilities
- Develop differentiated lesson plans aligned to standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain positive classroom management
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in professional development
- Attend staff meetings and school events
- Adapt instruction for diverse learners
- Integrate technology into curriculum
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid state teaching credential
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues
- Commitment to equity and inclusion
