About the Role
Inspire young learners as a Science Teacher at Lincoln Public Schools. You’ll develop and implement engaging STEAM curriculum aligned with state standards for diverse learners. This role involves collaborating with educators to foster critical thinking while tracking student progress toward academic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Create interactive lab experiments
- Assess student progress regularly
- Maintain classroom management
- Attend parent-teacher conferences
- Participate in PLC meetings
- Lead extracurricular science activities
Requirements
- State teaching certification (6-8)
- Bachelor’s in Education or science field
- Passion for STEAM education
- Differentiated instruction experience
