About the Role
Manufacturing Lathe Operator sought to operate lathe machines to shape metal parts with high precision and consistency. Perform inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes to produce metal components according to specifications.
- Set up and calibrate lathes, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Inspect machined parts for quality and tolerance.
- Adjust machine settings based on blueprints and drawings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organize the workstation.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with CNC lathes or similar machinery.
- Proficient reading and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
