About the Role
As a Public Service Advocate, you’ll bridge critical health resources to underserved communities in Florida. Working closely with local organizations, your role will empower Floridians with accessible healthcare solutions through Medicaid enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Identify community needs through outreach initiatives
- Conduct one-on-one enrollment assistance appointments
- Coordinate resources and referrals to local health professionals
- Provide health education materials and workshops
- Track progress on enrollment metrics and reporting
- Collaborate with state agencies to improve service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or related field
- 1-2 years of community outreach work
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent mindset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
