About the Role
Engage with customers to provide exceptional in-store experiences while promoting our full line of home improvement products. Collaborate with department leads to optimize product displays, stock shelves, and maintain high inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert product recommendations based on customer needs
- Operate point-of-sale systems, accept payments, and process merchandise returns/exchanges
- Maintain clean, well-organized product displays and aisles
- Assist customers with locating products and navigating store layouts
- Collaborate with lumber/materials departments for custom cuts and special orders
- Process inventory audits and restock from backroom storage
- Participate in seasonal promotions and new product launches
- Uphold store policies for security, loss prevention, and safety
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years retail experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of home improvement products (fasteners, power tools, paints)
- Strong interpersonal skills with professional communication style
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass background check
