About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to fabricate metal structures, perform welding repairs, and ensure high-quality workmanship. The technician will work in a manufacturing environment and adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal components and structures according to blueprints
- Perform welding repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Operate welding equipment and other machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to complete projects
- Record and document work completed and materials used
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in welding technology or equivalent experience
- Proven welding experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery
- Ability to work independently and in a team
