About the Role
Riverside County DCFS seeks a Social Worker II for child protective services. Investigate abuse/neglect reports, develop safety plans, and testify in dependency court. Caseload of 15-20 families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits within 24 hours of intake
- Create trauma-informed case plans
- Coordinate with schools and medical providers
- Maintain documentation in SACWIS system
- Attend weekly supervision meetings
- Facilitate parent education workshops
Requirements
- MSW or BSW + 2 years experience
- Valid driverβs license and auto insurance
- Child Welfare Caseworker certification
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Ability to pass county background check
- Flexible scheduling (some evenings)
