About the Role
Develop and maintain backend services for fintech applications using Python frameworks. Collaborate with product teams to implement financial data processing systems and API integrations. Contribute to architectural decisions in a CI/CD environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful APIs with Python/Django
- Optimize database performance for high-volume transactions
- Implement core banking system integrations
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Document technical specifications
Requirements
- 3+ years Python development experience
- Proficiency with Django or Flask frameworks
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of REST API best practices
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services
