About the Role
Lead a team of data scientists to develop advanced machine learning models that drive business intelligence. Report directly to the Chief Data Officer to help shape data strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Lead a team of data scientists and set technical direction
- Collaborate with product managers to integrate data insights
- Create reports and dashboards to visualize data-driven insights
- Mentor junior team members on best practices and data strategy
- Oversee data collection, integration, and pre-processing pipelines
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience leading data science teams
- Expertise in Python, R, and SQL
- Strong knowledge of ML frameworks: Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Proven experience with Big Data technologies like Spark or Hadoop
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
