About the Role
Lead exploration of quantum algorithms with practical advantages for optimization problems at SynosLabs. You’ll manage a team of quantum researchers, establish industry partnerships, and guide hardware-software co-design efforts targeting breakthroughs in pharmaceutical simulations and supply chain logistics.
Responsibilities
- Develop quantum computing roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Oversee superconducting and ion-trap hardware collaborations
- Verify quantum supremacy experiments
- Build hybrid quantum-classical application prototypes
- Recruit and mentor quantum research scientists
- Establish academic partnerships with leading universities
- Secure IP through patent applications
Requirements
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science
- 10+ years quantum algorithm research
- Publications in Nature/PRA/PRL
- Experience with Qiskit/Cirq programming
- Familiarity with quantum hardware control systems
- Proven record of research team leadership
- Knowledge of error correction architectures
