About the Role
Support distribution operations at Swift Logistics. Handle incoming/outgoing shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate material handling equipment in our Memphis hub.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight from trailers using forklifts
- Sort and stage packages for delivery
- Conduct inventory counts and identify discrepancies
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Scan and label shipments accurately
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Follow quality control procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- RF scanner proficiency a plus
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility for overtime when needed
- High school diploma or GED
