About the Role
Our healthcare facility is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care to our patients. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This role is vital to supporting our nursing staff and enhancing patient quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Follow infection control protocols
- Document patient care activities accurately
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
