About the Role
We are searching for an experienced Welding Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing high-quality welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and durability. The Welding Technician will work with blueprints and technical specifications to complete projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding on various metal components using TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Ensure precision and quality in all welding projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on welding equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians to meet production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship.
- Proven experience as a welding technician.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient with welding equipment and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of different types of metals and welding processes.
