About the Role
We need dedicated Classroom Aides to support our dynamic classrooms and promote student success by assisting teachers and working directly with students. This role will ensure the smooth operation of learning activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in maintaining classroom order and implementing educational plans
- Supervise students during activities and facilitate small group instruction
- Help with student assessments and monitoring progress
- Maintain classroom materials and equipment
- Support students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents
- Ensure student safety and well-being
- Participate in professional development workshops
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of classroom technology
- Physical ability to assist with student activities and tasks
- Background check and clearances required
