Job Description
About the Role
Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of enterprise clients. Collaborate with stakeholders from project conception through deployment to ensure high-performance, secure solutions. Act as an advocate of best practices in cloud architecture and influence technical design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of cloud infrastructure projects using AWS, Azure or GCP
- Collaborate with clients to determine technical requirements and develop solution specifications
- Define scalable system architecture using cloud-native technologies and microservices patterns
- Evaluate and implement automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure teams
- Monitor system performance, optimize infrastructure costs and enforce security compliance
- Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams and runbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud services
- Proficiency with cloud-native application development and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CloudFormation
- Ability to define scalable, secure and high-performing system architectures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
