About the Role
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility. You’ll work under RN supervision to administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist with daily living activities. This role offers opportunities for growth in geriatric care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians on care plans
- Document patient care services accurately
- Respond to patient call lights and requests
- Maintain infection control standards
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Texas
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to lift/move patients
- Knowledge of EHR systems
- Flexibility to work day/night shifts
