About the Role
Support students with diverse learning needs as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Lincoln Elementary. Work closely with lead teachers to implement IEPs and create inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Adapt instructional materials
- Assist with personal care as needed
- Document student progress
- Supervise recess and lunch periods
- Collaborate with therapy staff
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or paraprofessional certification
- Experience working with children with disabilities
- Patience and empathy
- Ability to follow IEP guidelines
- CPI training preferred
- Clear background check
- Strong communication skills
